Baseball Specific Rules

Listed Pitchers

  1. When betting the moneyline you have the choice to choose action, one listed or both listed pitchers. If the listed pitchers do not throw out the first pitch then the wager will be no action.
  2. If action is selected and the listed pitchers do not throw out the first pitch the wager will still stand however the price given will be the BetUS closing line for the game.

Game Moneylines

  1. Game must go at least 5 innings or 4½ if the home team is winning for moneyline to have action (Little League games are official on the money line after 4 full innings are completed or 3.5 innings if the home team is winning).
  2. Wagers include extra innings (including Preseason Games).
  3. If the game is called before completion, the winner will be determined by the score of the last full inning unless the home team has tied or taken the lead before the game has been called.
  4. Suspended games do not carry over for wagering purposes.

Game Runlines

  1. Game must go 9 innings or 8½ if the home team is winning for runline to have action (Little League Run lines are only valid if the game goes a minimum of 6 full innings or 5.5 if the home team is winning).
  2. Runlines are always listed pitchers, if a listed pitcher does not throw out the first pitch the wager will be graded no action
  3. 1.5 runs are added to the underdogs score or subtracted from the favorites score when determining the results of the game
  4. A favorite must win by 2 runs or more to win the wager
  5. An underdog can win or lose by a single run for the wager to be a winner.
  6. Extra innings count towards wager.
  7. If a game is suspended before completion but after 9 innings runline wagers still have action.
  8. Suspended games do not carry over for wagering purposes.

Game Totals/Team Totals

  1. Game must go 9 innings or 8½ if the home team is winning for Total to action (Little League totals and team totals are only valid if the game goes a minimum of 6 full innings or 5.5 if the home team is winning).
  2. Totals are always listed pitchers, if a listed pitcher does not throw out the first pitch the wager will be graded no action.
  3. Extra innings count towards wager.
  4. If a game is suspended before completion but after 9 innings wagers on the total still have action.
  5. Suspended games do not carry over for wagering purposes.

1st 5-Innings Lines

  1. Game must go 5 complete innings or 4.5 if the home team is winning for action on moneylines.
  2. Game must go 5 complete innings for action on runlines and totals.
  3. 1st 5-Innings moneylines can be bet as action, one listed or both listed pitchers.

MLB - Second Half

  • Bets are based on the score from the top of the 6th inning till the end of the game. Must be a complete game (i.e. 9 innings, or 8½ innings if the home team is ahead). Wagers include extra innings. Action pitchers at start.

Total Runs+Hits+Errors (RHE)

  1. Wagers are always listed pitchers, if a listed pitcher does not throw out the first pitch the wager will be graded No Action.
  2. Game must go 9 innings or 8½ if the home team is winning for action.

Team to Score 1st

  1. Wagers are always listed pitchers, if a listed pitcher does not throw out the first pitch the wager will be graded No Action.
  2. Extra Innings count.
  3. Once a run is scored the prop will be graded, regardless of how long the game lasts.

Alternate Runlines

  1. Wagers are always listed pitchers, if a listed pitcher does not throw out the first pitch the wager will be graded No action.
  2. Game must go 9 innings or 8½ if the home team is winning for action.

Team to Win Series

  1. Pitchers cannot be listed for series wagers; all wagers will have action regardless of the starting pitchers.
  2. Wagers on Regular Season baseball series are always based on the first three games played of the series.
  3. 1st 3 games of series on their scheduled date count only. If series is 2-0 and 3rd game is postponed Action stands, any prior cancelation is No Action.
  4. On four Game Series scheduled by MLB, Betus does not count all four games for Series Price; instead Betus only takes into account the first three games scheduled to determine the winner of Series Price.
  5. Can not be hooked up to any period of the same game.
  6. Wagers on Post Season (Playoff) baseball series are based on the team to win the series, regardless of the number of games involved.

Will there be a run in the 1st Inning?

  1. Wagers are always listed pitchers, if a listed pitcher does not throw out the first pitch the wager will be graded No Action.
  2. 1st inning must be complete for action.

MLB Grand Salami

  1. The wager involves betting over or under the total runs scored in all MLB games scheduled for a specific day.
  2. All scheduled games must go at least 9 innings, 8.5 if the home team is winning, for action.
  3. No pitchers will be listed for the Grand Salami; all wagers will have action regardless of the starting pitchers.

Game/Team Props

  • For Props involving statistical totals for a single game, the game must be official on the moneyline for wagers to have action, regardless whether the total has been reached or not.
  • Unless specified extra innings count towards wagers
  • For first to X based props, wagers have action once the event has occurred.
  • All props have listed pitchers.

Player Props

  • Player must be in the starting lineup for wagers to have action. (Total Bases = Only Bases gained with Hits)(Single=1, Double=2, Triple=3 and HR=4). The game must be official on the moneyline for wagers to have action.
  • Extra innings count towards wagers
  • All props have listed pitchers.

Futures /World Baseball Classic Rules

  • Regular Season wins and Matchups have action after the team has completed 160 regular season games.
  • American and National League Pennant winners will be determined by the team representing each league in the world series.
  • All future bets have action.
  • All futures will be graded at the end of the designated event
  • World Baseball Classic: All wagers will have action in games stopped early due to Mercy Rule. All wagers taken on a suspended game (one that started) will have action for 72 hours from start time, as long as the WBC governing body recognizes an eventual winner. Money line wagers will only have action as long as the game goes at least 4.5 Innings. Spread and Total wagers will only have action if the game goes at least 8.5 Innings (Except in Mercy Rule). Wagers on postponed games will not have action.

Live Betting

  1. The game must be fully completed for Live game wagering for the Run line/Total/Team total wagers to have action. Extra innings count. For Money line wagers the 4.5 inning rule is in effect.
  2. Run in Inning/No Run in Inning – Both the top and bottom of the inning must be played and completed for action.
  3. BetUS reserves the right to close a Live market at any time.
  4. Where BetUS have reason to believe that a bet is placed after the outcome of an event is known, BetUS reserves the right to cancel the bet.
  5. For all Live bets placed, the rules before the start will apply except where otherwise implied by a difference in selections, prices or markets offered.
  6. Where a blatant error is made in handicap set up (i.e Money line or spread reads as negative instead of positive and vice versa) on any event on which we are Live Betting, BetUS reserves the right to cancel such wagers.
  7. When scores are displayed during a game, every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the score and game time, however no liability is accepted for incorrect information displayed.
  8. The game must be fully completed within 16 hours of original scheduled start time for action.
